Human, Vermin

A forthcoming 72-hour interactive live and live-streamed, interactive exhibition where I perform as an imprisoned pest in a cage while audiences manipulate my environment as part of a physical theater “science experiment.” As we are seeing bodies stripped of their rights, I’m curious about how humans are treated “like animals.” Can humans have rights if animals don’t, and vice versa? How are the politics of disgust mapped on to humans and animals alike?
